Because when people come together, we can make the world good again.
About the Campaign:
In the time of #MeToo, intimate partner violence and sexual violence have become some of the most visible and serious public health issues, and our country is paying more attention than ever before. But it’s time we stop just giving a damn and do something about it!
Inspired by a little girl named Promise whose family survived five generations of domestic violence, Saving Promise has launched Don’t Just Give a Damn—a groundbreaking social and digital media call to action to mobilize communities to help prevent domestic and sexual violence.
About Our Impact:
Every dollar you donate will help fund programs that will change the impact of domestic violence on children and families for generations to come. Click here to learn more about how your donation makes a difference. Every damn donation counts—no matter how large or small!
Give $1 today so we can do critical work to prevent domestic violence. Then, ask your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who don’t just give a damn to do the same. Because when people come together, we can make the world good again.
About Saving Promise:
Saving Promise is a national nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to domestic violence prevention and awareness. It was founded when L.Y. Marlow discovered her daughter was trapped in an abusive relationship that also threatened her granddaughter, a little girl named Promise. Her story is about five generations of mothers and daughters who survived more than sixty years of domestic violence. She founded Saving Promise with the intention of doing just that—saving Promise, which blossomed into a vision for the nation.
Saving Promise’s mission is to disrupt the cycle of intimate partner violence in at-risk adolescents and young adults and create safer communities for generations to come.
